Supersprint Race Rear Exhaust with 4x100mm Tips for G87 BMW M2

Supersprint’s Race Rear Exhaust with 4x100mm Tips for G87 BMW M2 replaces the factory rear muffler with a right and left pair, each finished with twin 100mm round tailpipes in Gun Metal Grey, four across the back of the car. Supersprint lists valves on its other G87 rear and not on this one, so the choice between the two is simple: the Race rear for an owner who wants the sound all the time and does not need to quiet the car for a cold start or a late drive home, and the Valved rear for anyone who does. Both rears are registered for G87 cars with and without the particulate filter.

What is the difference between the Supersprint Race Rear Exhaust and the Valved rear? Supersprint lists valves on the Valved rear and not on the Race Rear Exhaust. Both carry twin 100mm Gun Metal Grey tailpipes on each side. The Race rear suits an owner who wants the full sound all the time, and the Valved rear suits one who wants to be able to run the car quieter.
Does the rear exhaust fit a G87 M2 with the particulate filter? Yes. Supersprint registers this rear for the G87 M2 with and without the particulate filter, in the 460 hp version from 2022 to 2023 and the 480 hp version from 2024 onward. One part number covers all four versions, so no different ordering code is needed for a car with the filter.

About Supersprint

Supersprint has built exhaust systems in Mantova, Italy since 1955, designing and manufacturing in house rather than assembling bought-in parts. Piping is AISI 304 stainless at a nominal 1.5mm wall, mandrel bent and TIG or MIG welded to CNC machined stainless flanges 7mm to 12mm thick; AISI 310S and Inconel come out where thermal load is highest, and catalyst hardware comes from HJS. Every application is developed against a baseline measured on the AWD MAHA dynamometer in Mantova, which is why the catalogue is model specific rather than universal.
