Karbonius Coupe Carbon Door Set for E92 BMW M3
Karbonius develops full carbon fiber doors as an extreme weight reduction upgrade, cutting approximately 13 kilograms per door compared to OEM construction. Because door structure is critical to occupant safety, Karbonius engineers each door to minimize weight without compromising protection. The outer skin and internal reinforcement are produced exclusively from prepreg carbon fiber and aramid fiber (Kevlar) pre-preg, including integrated side impact bars. These bars are installed inside the door and secured using structural adhesive and OEM fasteners. Each door is designed to accept factory mounting points and hardware, including OEM latches, window regulators, seals, and interior panels (not included), so functionality is retained. To guarantee precise fitment and compatibility with factory mechanisms, the interior panel is cut by automated robotic equipment. The door is supplied with an exterior primed finish, ready for paint, with other finish options available on request.
