ADRO ARD AT-P Swan Neck Wing for the 992.1 and 992.2 Porsche 911 GT3, a dual-element profile mathematically solved for downforce-to-drag efficiency at the highest wing setting. Sold as one wing assembly with aluminium uprights and hardware. Made to order with an approximate three month lead time.
ADRO ARD AT-P Prepreg Carbon Swan Neck Wing for 992.1 and 992.2 Porsche 911 GT3
The ADRO 992 GT3 ARD AT-P Swan Neck Wing is the rear half of ADRO Racing Division’s AOX programme, and it exists to balance the front load the ARD front splitter and race canards generate. It was solved with the same adjoint CFD methodology as the front, but against a different objective: maximum downforce-to-drag efficiency at the highest wing setting. The result produces significantly more downforce than a conventionally designed wing at the same physical angle of attack, because the profile itself was mathematically solved for the exact onset flow rather than picked from a catalogue. It fits both the 992.1 and 992.2 GT3 (all trims).
Solved, Not Selected
- Most aftermarket wings take a known aerofoil section and scale it to the car. ADRO’s AOX software instead treats the profile itself as the unknown: it is given the downforce and drag targets, the onset flow the GT3 actually delivers to the rear deck, and the limits the geometry may move within, then runs repeated CFD and adjoint solver loops until the shape converges. Because the section is tuned to the air the car really presents rather than to clean freestream, the same physical angle yields more load than a generic profile at that angle.
Swan Neck Mounting and Dual Element
- The wing hangs from swan neck uprights rather than sitting on conventional pedestals, which keeps the underside of the mainplane clean. That matters because the low-pressure surface is where a wing does its work, and struts intruding into it disturb exactly the flow you are trying to preserve. The dual-element arrangement adds a second, smaller element behind the mainplane, allowing more total camber without the flow separating the way a single element of the same aggression would.
ADRO 992 GT3 ARD AT-P Swan Neck Wing Construction
- The wing assembly is laid up in prepreg carbon fiber and autoclave cured, with a pair of machined aluminium uprights that carry the load into the rear deck. Prepreg matters on a loaded aerodynamic surface for stiffness rather than looks: a wing that twists under load sheds the angle it was set to, and the consistent resin-to-fiber ratio is what keeps the profile holding its shape at the speeds where the downforce figures were measured.
Features
- Adjoint CFD optimized profile generated in ADRO’s in-house AOX software
- Autoclave cured prepreg carbon fiber for torsional stiffness under load
- Dual element design for higher total camber without flow separation
- Fits both 992.1 and 992.2 GT3, all trims
- Machined aluminium uprights supplied as a left and right pair
- Part of the ADRO Racing Division AOX programme, balancing the ARD front aero
- Swan neck mounting keeps the low-pressure underside of the mainplane clean
What’s Included
- AT-P dual element wing assembly (x1)
- Aluminium uprights, left and right (x2)
- Mounting hardware (x1 set)
Applications
- Porsche 911 GT3: 992.1 | 2022-2024

Frequently Asked Questions
- Does the ADRO 992 GT3 ARD AT-P Swan Neck Wing fit the 992.2? Yes. Unlike the ARD front parts, which are 992.1 only, the wing is listed for both the 992.1 and 992.2 GT3 in all trims.
- Why is a swan neck mount better? It hangs the wing from above, keeping struts out of the low-pressure underside of the mainplane where the wing generates most of its load. Conventional pedestals sit in exactly that flow and disturb it.
- What does dual element mean? A second, smaller element sits behind the mainplane. It lets the wing run more total camber, and therefore more downforce, before the airflow separates the way it would over a single element of the same aggression.
- How much downforce does the package make? ADRO reports the complete AOX package produces 2888N at 180kph against 598N stock in high downforce track mode, a 2.3 times increase for a 0.28 rise in drag. That figure is for the full front and rear package, not for the wing alone.
- Do I need the ARD front aero to run this wing? Not mechanically. The wing was solved to balance the load the ARD front splitter and canards create, so running it alone shifts the car’s aerodynamic balance rearward. Contact us if you want to discuss the right combination for your setup.
- What is the lead time? Made to order with an approximate three month lead time from ADRO. Contact us for the current build schedule.
