AutoTecknic Dry Carbon Competition Rear Center Diffuser for F10 BMW M5
AutoTecknic has released its Dry Carbon Fiber Competition Center Diffuser for the F10 BMW M5, crafted using 100% pre-preg dry carbon technology. This technology ensures a lightweight, durable, and precise-fitting product. The diffuser is designed for direct mounting onto the lower factory diffuser mounting location, allowing for a straightforward and quick installation. The term “dry carbon fiber” refers to the method used in its production. It involves a “pre-preg” or pre-impregnated piece of carbon material that is first placed into a mold, then cured in a sealed vacuum (autoclave). This process minimizes waste and produces a lighter form of carbon compared to the “wet” method. Additionally, the autoclave vacuuming technique results in fewer pinholes and virtually no air pockets, making dry carbon the highest-quality form of carbon fiber products available.
