What is 180 Technology?

AWE’s patented 180 Technology is engineered to remove unwanted frequencies, letting only the pure performance and signature AWE exhaust note come through. The system directs exhaust gases into a resonator equipped with precisely positioned ports and reflection chambers, where sound waves bounce off the chamber walls. Acoustic engineers fine-tune the size and placement of these ports and chambers for each vehicle, controlling exactly when the reflected waves rejoin the main flow. Timed correctly, those waves return 180 degrees out of phase, canceling problematic frequencies.
