Boost Logic’s Valved Rear Section for R35 Nissan GT-R is a boost-activated valved muffler section made to fit only Boost Logic’s Magnum 4.5-inch titanium exhaust. Cruising under 7 psi it keeps a refined, subdued tone, and as boost rises the valves open for the full sound and flow of the race exhaust; Boost Logic puts the average reduction at roughly 10 dB compared to the non-valved Magnum. It is the right part for a Magnum owner who drives the car daily and wants it quieter off boost. It is the muffler section only and reuses the tips already on the car.

Design and Performance

Boost Logic designed the valves so that the closed position adds no unwanted back pressure or performance loss, and says the open position matches the flow and power potential of its full race exhaust. The result is a Magnum system that is easier to live with around town while keeping the flow of the non-valved version at full boost.

No. The Valved Rear Section for R35 is designed only for the Boost Logic Magnum 4.5 inch titanium exhaust and replaces its muffler section.
