Fabspeed’s Center Muffler Bypass X-Pipe replaces the factory 997.2 Carrera’s center muffler with a lightweight, CNC mandrel-bent T304L stainless steel x-pipe, trading a small amount of weight for a deeper, more resonant exhaust note. It’s the milder of Fabspeed’s two muffler-bypass options for this chassis — a noticeable but not overwhelming change on cars without Porsche Sport Exhaust (PSE), and a more dramatic, race-inspired tone with the valves open on cars that have PSE. It installs on its own and works with either your factory side mufflers or Fabspeed’s Maxflo Performance Side Exhaust System.
