Fabspeed offers the best exhaust heat control solution for the C8 Corvette. While GM engineers designed the factory headers with heat shields to protect sensitive electronic components in the engine bay, most aftermarket headers lack heat shields or provisions for attaching the OEM shields. After extensive heat testing during the design of their exhaust solutions for the C8, Fabspeed discovered that heat control is crucial to prevent electronics, plastics, and fuel lines from melting or suffering fatigue due to intense heat cycling. To address this, Fabspeed developed military-spec thermal blankets that offer superior heat control compared to the OEM shields, specifically for their Sport Headers and many other aftermarket headers. With over 20 years of experience designing heat blankets for high-performance vehicles like McLaren and Ferrari, these blankets can withstand up to 2200 degrees Fahrenheit, outperforming header wrap and ceramic coatings by preventing moisture retention and providing better heat management.

Notes
- All Fabspeed products are expected to ship within one week of order, though timelines are often much quicker
- Header blankets will smoke after installation, this is normal and will subside once cycled 2-3 times
