HKS TYPE-S Rear Wing for GZEA14H Toyota GR Corolla

The HKS TYPE-S Rear Wing for GZEA14H GR Corolla owners is a one-piece FRP wing shaped to suit the stock wide body of the G16E-GTS hatch. HKS set its position and angle through CFD analysis, aiming for low drag and high downforce, and kept the top of the wing below the factory shark antenna so the overall height of the car does not change. It needs paint and one enlarged clip hole inside the rear hatch before fitting. It suits a street or track day GR Corolla that wants the time attack look without a tall swan neck; a car already running a large aftermarket wing gains little from it.

Does the TYPE-S Rear Wing for GZEA14H raise the overall height of the GR Corolla? No. HKS designed the TYPE-S Rear Wing for GZEA14H to sit lower than the factory shark antenna on the roof, so the overall height of the car stays the same. That matters to owners who use height-limited garages, car washes or covered trailers and do not want to re-measure after fitting the wing.
Does the rear wing come painted? No. The wing is a one-piece FRP molding supplied for painting, and it must be painted before installation. HKS recommends a professional workshop for both the painting and the fitting, and the instruction manual covers degreasing, sanding, priming and a second sanding before the color coat goes on.
Is drilling required to fit the wing? Yes. One clip hole inside the rear hatch, the upper hole that secures the left rear side spoiler, has to be enlarged, with 25mm the recommended diameter. HKS warns that the hole must not go through the outer surface of the hatch. The brackets, bolts, clip nuts, spacers and tape all come in the box.
Does the wing add real downforce? HKS states that the position and angle of the wing were optimized through CFD analysis for low drag and high downforce. HKS does not publish a downforce figure or the speed it was measured at, so Bulletproof Automotive does not quote one. Drivers chasing aero balance on track can pair it with the matching HKS TYPE-S front spoiler.
Which GR Corolla model years does the rear wing fit? HKS USA registers the wing for the 2023 to 2025 GR Corolla with the G16E-GTS engine. HKS Japan also lists the same part number in its Gen2 body kit, but HKS USA has not yet added the 2026 car, so owners of a 2026 GR Corolla should ask Bulletproof Automotive to confirm fitment before ordering.
