The Mercedes G63 AMG, equipped with a powerful 577hp V8 engine, excels in rugged terrain. Nonetheless, contemporary manufacturing standards have somewhat diminished its auditory impact. Kline Innovation’s design mission was to recapture and amplify the classic V8 rumble using the highest quality and most durable materials on the market.

The Sound

The stock exhaust of the G63 AMG is designed primarily for noise suppression, featuring chambers and acoustic fill sections that stifle the V8’s potential. Kline Innovation addresses this by removing the stock silencers and introducing specially designed harmonically tuned silencers that enhance the sound. When the valve is open, the silencer is completely bypassed, producing a raw, deep growl. With the valve closed, the silencers are engineered to eliminate highway drone, maintaining the luxury of the G63 AMG. Additionally, the F1 grade carbon fiber pre-preg tips match the angular aesthetics of the G63 AMG and highlight its rugged appeal.

Stainless Steel

Consistent with industry standards, Kline incorporates 304-grade stainless steel into their exhaust systems. This type of steel blends a mix of decent strength, thermochemical resistance, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturing ease, thus contributing to the creation of durable and functional exhaust systems. Although stainless steel has a density similar to that of regular steel and is slightly heavier, it offers slightly less tensile strength. However, it meets all the requirements for fabricating high-performance exhaust parts and producing attractive exhaust sounds.

Inconel
