TECHART Carbon Side Mirror Trims for 992 Porsche 911
The TECHART Carbon Side Mirror Trims turn the standard mirror housings into a contrasted motorsport highlight, mounted directly on top of the existing mirror housing rather than replacing it. TECHART builds its carbon fiber parts and trims for exactly this kind of detail work, down to the smallest fiber, giving the 992 a sharper visual break between body colour and mirror without a full mirror replacement.
Fitment Detail
- These trims mount on top of the existing mirror housing. TECHART notes directly that, due to variation in fitment, a gap can appear where the underlying paint shows through, and this is especially noticeable on brighter body colours. Review reference photos before ordering if a fully seamless fit against a light or bright colour matters to your build.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Will there be a visible gap around the trim? TECHART states directly that due to fitment variation, a gap can appear with the underlying body paint showing through, and this is more noticeable on brighter colours. Check the reference photos of a yellow car provided on the product page before ordering if this is a concern for your build.
- Which finish should I choose? Carbon Glossy gives a higher-shine, more reflective carbon surface, while Carbon Matt gives a flatter, non-reflective finish. Both are genuine visible carbon fiber; the choice comes down to which reads better against your car’s paint and other trim.
- Does this replace the factory mirror housing? No. The trim mounts on top of the existing mirror housing rather than replacing it, so the factory mirror body, glass, folding mechanism and any signal or camera stay in place underneath.
- Which 992 models does this fit? All 992 models, covering the full range of 911 variants built on this chassis rather than being restricted to a specific trim like Turbo or GT3.
- How many pieces come in the set? One set, covering both mirrors. There is no need to order twice.
- Where is it manufactured? Germany. This is made to order rather than held in stock, so confirm current lead time with us before committing to an installation date.
