MMX’s X5 airmatic lowering link set drops ride height mechanically on the G05 X5, G06 X6, and G07 X7 factory air suspension, from 0mm up to roughly 50mm front and rear, without touching the electronics that run it. Billet 6061-T6 aluminum links bolt in at the factory mounting points in place of the stock links, and because the system stays mechanical, the factory ride height presets, drive modes, self-leveling, and monitoring systems all keep working exactly as before.
Construction
- The MMX X5 airmatic lowering link set is precision CNC-machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum, replacing the factory air suspension links with an adjustable design that changes the geometry the self-leveling system reads rather than intercepting or reprogramming it. Because there are no electronic modules, signal interceptors, or wiring changes involved, the factory Airmatic system continues to operate exactly as BMW designed it, just at a lower ride height.
