Supersprint’s Resonated Front J-Pipe for G87 BMW M2 is the middle of the three front sections Supersprint builds for the car: it keeps resonator chambers in the front run, where the non-resonated J-Pipe drops them. Supersprint lists it as the alternative to the J-Pipe with Sport Cats. The chambers are there to take the droning frequencies out of the note at a steady cruise, and that is the reason to choose this one over the non-resonated version on a car that covers real highway miles. It is still a Supersprint front section in place of the factory pipework, so expect a more present S58 than stock; if the goal is the most sound the range offers, the non-resonated J-Pipe is the part to buy.

The Resonated Front J-Pipe keeps resonator chambers in the front run, and those chambers are there to take out the droning frequencies that build at a steady highway cruise. About Supersprint

Supersprint has built exhaust systems in Mantova, Italy since 1955, designing and manufacturing in house rather than assembling bought-in parts. Piping is AISI 304 stainless at a nominal 1.5mm wall, mandrel bent and TIG or MIG welded to CNC machined stainless flanges 7mm to 12mm thick; AISI 310S and Inconel come out where thermal load is highest, and catalyst hardware comes from HJS. Every application is developed against a baseline measured on the AWD MAHA dynamometer in Mantova, which is why the catalogue is model specific rather than universal.
